Welcome to His Little Disciples. These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the His Little Disciples website and services (the "Service"). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

1. Eligibility and Account Registration

The Service is designed for use by families with children. Only parents or legal guardians (age 18 or older) may create accounts. By creating an account, you represent that you are at least 18 years old and are the parent or legal guardian of any children whose profiles you create within the Service.

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account and for all activities that occur under your account. You agree to notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account.

2. Description of Service

His Little Disciples provides interactive Bible lessons based on the King James Version (KJV) for children ages 4–12. The Service includes:

Bible story lessons with interactive activities
Memory verse practice and quizzes
Progress tracking, streaks, and badge rewards
Community Prayer Wall
Private Prayer Journal
Weekly Family Devotionals
Verse of the Day and Daily Fun Facts

3. Subscriptions and Payments

3.1 Free Trial

New users may be eligible for a 7-day free trial. During the trial period, you have full access to all features. If you do not cancel before the trial ends, your subscription will automatically convert to a paid subscription.

3.2 Subscription Plans

We offer monthly and annual subscription plans. Prices are displayed on our Subscribe page and may be updated from time to time. Any price changes will not affect your current billing cycle.

3.3 Payment Processing

All payments are processed by Stripe, Inc. By subscribing, you agree to Stripe's Terms of Service and Privacy Policy. We do not store your credit card information.

3.4 Cancellation and Refunds

You may cancel your subscription at any time from your Dashboard. Upon cancellation, you will retain access until the end of your current billing period. We do not provide prorated refunds for partial billing periods. If you believe you were charged in error, contact us at [email protected].

3.5 Promotional Codes

Promotional codes may be offered from time to time. Codes are non-transferable, cannot be combined with other offers, and may have expiration dates or usage limits. We reserve the right to modify or discontinue promotional offers at any time.

4. User Content and Community Guidelines

4.1 Prayer Wall

The Community Prayer Wall allows parents to submit prayer requests on behalf of their children. All submissions are subject to administrator review before being published. We reserve the right to reject or remove any content that:

Contains inappropriate, offensive, or harmful language
Includes personal information beyond a first name
Is unrelated to prayer or faith
Violates any applicable law

4.2 Prayer Journal

Prayer journal entries are private and visible only to the account holder. We do not review, share, or publish prayer journal content.

5. Intellectual Property

All original content, including lesson text, quiz questions, explanations, illustrations, and the overall design of the Service, is the property of His Little Disciples and is protected by copyright law. Scripture quotations are from the King James Version, which is in the public domain.

You may not reproduce, distribute, modify, or create derivative works from our content without prior written permission, except for personal, non-commercial use (such as printing a family devotional for your household).

6. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

Use the Service for any unlawful purpose
Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the Service
Interfere with or disrupt the Service or servers
Share your account credentials with others
Use automated tools to scrape or extract content from the Service
Submit false or misleading information
Use the Service to collect personal information from children without parental consent

7. Children's Privacy (COPPA Compliance)

We comply with the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA). Our complete data practices are described in our Privacy Policy. By using the Service, you acknowledge that you have read and agree to our Privacy Policy.

As a parent or guardian, you consent to the collection and use of your child's information as described in our Privacy Policy when you create a child profile.

8. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of viruses or other harmful components. The Bible lessons and devotional content are provided for educational and spiritual enrichment purposes and should not be considered a substitute for professional religious instruction or counseling.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, His Little Disciples shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of or related to your use of the Service. Our total liability for any claim arising from these Terms shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

10. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless His Little Disciples, its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses (including reasonable attorney's fees) arising from your use of the Service or violation of these Terms.

11. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account at any time for violation of these Terms or for any other reason at our sole discretion. Upon termination, your right to use the Service will immediately cease. Sections 8, 9, 10, and 12 shall survive termination.

12. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Texas, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising from these Terms shall be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Texas.

13. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by posting the updated Terms on this page with a new effective date. Your continued use of the Service after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
